The Dragon's Prophecy by Jonathan Cahn - A Book Review

My husband and I listened as the text-to-speech feature on my Kindle read The Dragon's Prophecy to us over several days. We were both amazed at the correlations Jonathan Cahn was able to draw between Scripture, Jewish traditions, the Hebrew language, and the history of Israel to the events of October 7, 2023. The information he provides is easily fact checked and much of the information is not obscure, but is available through mainstream news sources. The brilliance is in how Cahn links the information together, demonstrating the patterns that appear over time as Satan seeks to invert the reality of God and His people. Ecclesiastes 1:9 (NLT) states, “History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new.” So, it is not surprising that Satan's actions repeat themselves. When this is made clear to us concerning recent events, it may allow us to see things through a different lens.

I am grateful to have received a complimentary copy of The Dragon's Prophecy from Frontline via NetGalley without obligation. The book is very interesting. I am anxious to reread the book, taking notes along the way this time through. All opinions expressed here are my own.

The Harbinger II The Return by Jonathan Cahn - A Book Review

In this second Harbinger book Jonathan Cahn picks up from where the first book left off with God's first staking, the 9/11 attack on our country. In that book Cahn brought to the readers' attention connections with Biblical events, too many to be coincidental. In this book he brings us into the present, even addressing the current COVID-19 pandemic. He uses Scriptural references to explain why God is working to get our attention, and stresses the need for God's people to repent and seek His face. Cahn also writes about current sexual morality and the broadening of the pro-choice movement. I did find one error in the data presented (or it may be possible it was the on-line source whose data was in error), but it was only a few days' difference in when New York City experienced its peak number of COVID-19 cases. This book gives readers much to ponder. I am grateful to have been gifted a copy of The Harbinger II by a sweet, book-reading friend.

The Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn - A Book Review

The Harbinger is written as a narrative, but is filled with well documented facts. The author, Jonathan Cahn, leads the Hope of the World ministries and the Jerusalem Center/Beth Israel Worship Center. His insight connecting the Holy Scriptures to current events is truly amazing. My husband was reading the book at the same time I was, but had less time to devote to it so my bookmark was always ahead of his. I would start to talk to him about something, and then say that I didn't want to spoil the effect of how Cahn revealed connections. I cannot wait until he's finished and we can talk about this book together. I am more than grateful to have been gifted this book, and its sequel by my friend, Maryanne. What a blessing! I would like to say so much more, but let it suffice to say that I have ten pages of type written notes from this book, and it would be ever so much better if you read it for yourself.
