I
believe that I have read every book Patricia Bradley has written, and
am always excited to read her newest releases. Standoff
is the first book in her latest series revolving around Natchez Trace
Park Rangers. It is classic Bradley with non-stop action, an
abundance of suspects and red herrings, great dialogue, and endearing
characters. This book's protagonist is torn in many directions:
between past love and the possibility of new love, between the joy of
beginning her dream job and the grief over her father's murder, and
between trusting life-long friends and knowing that there is at least
one among them who is a betrayer and possibly a murderer. I encourage
fans of romantic suspense to join her as she searches for the truth.
