Reading
Bookshop by the Sea
caused me long periods of angst. The way that Sophie Lawson was
treated by those close to her was disturbing to say the least. While
this book was an okay read, Hunter's Bluebell Inn series
was a hard act to follow. The theme of this book is dealing with
abandonment. Hunter did a wonderful job of demonstrating the
long-term consequences while providing hope, especially for those who
discover their worth as a child of God. I am grateful to have
received a complimentary copy of this book from Thomas Nelson via
NetGalley without obligation. All opinions expressed here are my own.
